The portable electrochemical selective metallization system can be used with 100 different metals and alloys. It allows the repair of worn or oxidized cylinders and shafts, most of the time without having to dismantle them. Electric motor flanges can be resized quickly and easily without machining and in a shorter time than sleeving. Corroded flanges can be coated with a corrosion-resistant alloy and wear rings with a more wear-resistant metal, which increases the service life of the components.
The main applications of selective electrochemical metallization are related to reloading and scratching on various materials such as stainless steel or steel and the repair of flexographic or offset press rolls. These include chrome reloading or the repair of steel blanket defects.
